Background:Member of the Information Enterprise Architecture (IEA) team supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). Duties include the development of Enterprise Reference Architectures including Integrated Security, Cloud Computing, Identity and Access Management (IdAM), Remote Site, Data Center, Network Operations and Unified Communications. Will recommend architecting tools, processes, artifacts, and methods, in support of IEA integration and prudent evolution. Will evaluate, approve and oversee, when required, architectural changes to meet current and future Enterprise requirements. Perform research and development including requirements analysis, trade studies, technology maturity assessments and associated technology insertion projects, alignment and traceability, and recommended technological improvements (e.g., innovation) to the MDA Enterprise. Will participate in the development of a pilot project for introducing Model-Based Engineering (MBE) into the Enterprise. Participate in improvement of existing processes and tools for architecture and engineering activities related to the design and implementation of current and future technologies. Ensure consistency with DoD CIO, DoD IEA, JIE, Cybersecurity, other high level architectural direction, as well as commercial best practices.
